Product introduction

Working principle

Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generator is a gas separation equipment that takes carbon molecular sieve as adsorbent, and directly produces product nitrogen from compressed air based on the principle of pressure adsorption and depressurization desorption by taking advantage of the difference in the adsorption amount of oxygen and nitrogen molecules in the molecular sieve in the compressed air.

Product features

♦Fast and stable on-site product nitrogen production, and qualified nitrogen can be produced in 10-20 minutes at the shortest.

♦More efficient and stable molecular sieves and special PSA energy-saving technology are selected, with lower energy consumption.

♦The standard configuration of molecular sieve water pollution protection alarm device and multiple molecular sieve protection technology ensure that the nitrogen generator can operate longer and more stably.

♦The air tank, nitrogen tank and nitrogen generator are prefabricated on the same skid, and the installation is simple and fast.

Based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption (PSA), high-quality carbon molecular sieves are used as the adsorbent. Under a certain pressure, due to kinetic effects, the diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen on the carbon molecular sieve differ significantly. Oxygen molecules are largely adsorbed by the carbon molecules, while nitrogen molecules are enriched in the gas phase, achieving oxygen-nitrogen separation. Since the adsorption capacity of the carbon molecular sieve for oxygen varies significantly with pressure, reducing the pressure desorbs the adsorbed oxygen molecules, regenerating the carbon molecular sieve for repeated use. A two-adsorption-tower process is employed: one tower adsorbs and produces nitrogen, while the other desorbs and regenerates, alternating in a cycle to continuously produce high-quality nitrogen gas.
